At Auckland Design Week, our design community united to showcase creativity in its boldest forms.
GreenAir is deeply appreciative for the opportunity to infuse life into the Design Depot with our Biophilia-inspired wellness space. Guided by the exceptional guests indulged in a biophilia-themed meditation and sound journey, leaving them empowered and ready to conquer the day.
During Auckland Design Week, GreenAir had the privilege of transforming the Design Depot into a wellness-inspired space rooted in biophilic principles. Held at the Sapphire Room in Ponsonby, this event invited participants to engage with nature through intentional greenery, thoughtfully designed lighting, and organic patterns that fostered a profound connection to the natural world.

Our installation aimed to create a sanctuary of calm amidst the vibrant energy of Design Week. With carefully curated garden solutions, mixed foliage displays, and floor-standing planters, we brought the concept of biophilia to life, offering visitors an immersive experience that harmonises with the week’s theme of bold creativity. The natural elements not only enhanced the ambience but also encouraged introspection and relaxation, serving as an oasis for reflection within the design showcase.
A highlight of the event was a biophilia-themed meditation and sound journey, where guests were guided through a sensory exploration that combined sight, sound, and touch to deepen their connection to nature. This experience left attendees feeling empowered, centred, and inspired, embodying the wellness and rejuvenation that GreenAir seeks to bring into urban spaces.
We are deeply appreciative of the opportunity to be part of Auckland Design Week, where our vision for wellness-driven design was met with enthusiasm. This collaboration reinforced the vital role of nature-inspired spaces in fostering creativity, resilience, and a balanced state of mind.
